The Nation and the Promise of Friendship: Building Solidarity through Sociability, on national solidarity and social club sociability, published in the Cultural Sociology Series, Palgrave MacMillan, edited by Jeffrey Alexander, Philip Smith, Ron Eyerman and David Inglis. A related paper, “Social club sociability as a model for national solidarity,” was published in the American Journal of Cultural Sociology (6:1). Congratulations, Danny!
