Eric Woods sends a note of sincere thanks to the people who participated in his CCS workshop last spring. The article that he presented to the workshop, “The Battle for the Soul of the Nation: Nationalist Polarization in the 2020 American Presidential Election and the Threat to Democracy,” was recently published in the journal Political Communication. According to its impact factor, the journal is ranked 3rd among all political science journals. Eric tells us, “I honestly don’t think that it would have been possible to get the article published in such a prestigious journal without it first being subjected to the thoughtful comments and questions from the participants of the workshop. I’m very grateful to them.”
