Nicolás Rudas and Danny Mollericona Alfaro participated in the discussion roundtable, “Cultural Sociology in Latin America: challenges and advances in Contemporary times” at the well recognized regional event, Social Sciences Graduate Student Latin American Conference (CLEPSO) in Mexico City on August 28, 2024. 

The table was organized by current graduate students of CCS Faculty Fellow Nelson Arteaga Botello, at Flacso Mexico, Tatiana Vargas and Rodrigo Rodriguez, and included professors and students from Mexico, Bolivia and Colombia doing cultural sociology in the Latin American context. The objective was “to articulate cultural Sociology researchers in the Latin American context and to socialize the difficulties and achievements in the development of their research.” Nicolás and Danny presented part of their work in progress.
